[Sofia, Bulgaria] – Recycling at our HQ matters. Every item disposed of correctly helps us reduce waste and use resources more responsibly. That is why we have introduced the OM-5 SOP Waste Management at Office Facilities, which promotes waste segregation and proper waste handling as part of our day-to-day work.
How You Can Help – Starting Today
✅ Use the labeled bins and dispose of waste in the correct containers.
✅ If you have electronic waste (e-waste) or damaged equipment, dispose of it via the designated collection points and/or through the IT Department.
✅ Reduce waste whenever possible by choosing reusable options and prioritizing reuse.
Quick Disposal Guide (HQ)
Basic rules: sort waste correctly, keep items clean and dry whenever possible, follow the bin labels, and report any issues (full bins/missing labels).
🔹 Green bins – Glass: only clean glass bottles and jars; remove lids. Do not dispose of broken glass here (collect it separately and secure it).
🔹 White bins – Paper: office paper, magazines, and cardboard packaging; do not dispose of greasy/wet/dirty paper; flatten or fold bulky items.
🔹 Yellow bins – Plastics: plastic bottles, packaging, and cups; empty and rinse items before disposal; check the recycling symbol where applicable.
🔹 Red bins – Electronics & batteries: place old batteries and electronic devices in the designated e-waste container; keep small batteries separate from larger devices; where possible, consider repair or donation if items are still functional.
The Office Management team coordinates the process and works with service providers. Waste volumes are monitored and recorded in the Waste Log so we can track our progress over time.
