Bulgarian Memory Foundation celebrated the National Day of Bulgaria with a patriotic initiative

On 3rd March, students from Southeastern Bulgaria paid tribute to those who had died for the freedom of Bulgaria.

With the support of Dr. Milen Vrabevski and Bulgarian Memory Foundation, a group of 14 adolescents from Southeastern Bulgaria took part in the annual celebrations at Shipka Peak on the occasion of the National Day, 3rd March. The students from 9th to 11th grade from Secondary School “Hristo Smirnenski” v. Kochan, Satovcha municipality, and the students from Secondary School “Dimitar Blagoev”, the town of Dospat, presented wreaths and flowers on the Shipka Memorial, participated in the festive programme planned events, and celebrated the Liberation Day of Bulgaria. The initiative is part of the activities of the organization during 2017 and is connected with the work of the foundation over many years for patriotic upbringing of the young people in Bulgaria.
