On June 19th, 2017 at 7 pm in “Sofia Live Club”, the book “50 Sites of the Bulgarian History outside the Borders of Bulgaria” was presented – the first of a kind edition on the Bulgarian market, which takes the reader on an exciting journey across sites that are significant for our own chronicle and are located outside the borders of our country.

The event was attended by representatives of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad (SABA), historians, public figures, media and fans of Bulgarian history and travels. The book was presented by its authors Svetoslav Markov and Teodor Borisov, and a team of the Bulgarian History Association; Dr. Milen Vrabevski, Chairman of the Bulgarian Memory Foundation was invited as a special guest and a project partner. The Foundation funded the publishing of this book as part of its long-standing activity related to the preservation and distribution of our cultural and historical heritage.

“We are a self-financing organization and so we select very carefully the ideas and projects we support. This book narrates in a very comprehensive and fascinating way about important sites of our history”, said Dr. Vrabevski to the guests of the event.
