Comac Medical receives a nomination in National Medical Awards 2020

Exceptional patient recruitment campaign championed by Comac Medical has been recognized as a finalist in the prestigious NATIONAL MEDICAL AWARDS 2020 competition, which honors the humanism and responsibility of doctors, hospitals, clinics and medical teams. These awards signify peer recognition for demonstrated expertise in medical service, medical research or academic medicine through exemplifying the highest standards of professionalism and sense of community.

The category in which Comac Medical has been nominated is “Social Responsibility and Human Resources in the field of Medicine” for a patient recruitment campaign aiming raising awareness for the importance of prevention and treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. The campaign lasted for 6 months and included a number of activities such as free consultations by leading specialists for patients with diabetic foot ulcers, participation in patient events and exhibitions offering free consultations and patient materials, as well as number of publications by renowned endocrinologists and surgeons.

The award is given to a doctor / team / hospital who have demonstrated exemplary efforts voluntarily, without being forced by law, to achieve social and environmental goals during their activities.

Nominations are made by leading industry organizations, experts and specialized industry media.

Criteria that were taken into account for awarding the nomination are:

  • Innovations in the field of health care
  • Community campaigns for prevention and awareness
  • International recognition for high level management and quality services

The ceremony will take place on June 25 the ballroom of MARINELA Hotel, Sofia.

The organizer of the event is the public communications agency VIP COMMUNICATION PR.

Partners of the event are the National Patient Organization (NGO), the Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA) and the National Association of General Practitioners (NAGP), the Sofia Medical College at the BMA and others.
