Bulgarian Memory Foundation was founded in 2007 by Dr. Milen Vrabevski to work for realization of the modern idea for national identity in the perspective and values of the European citizenship and intercultural dialog – pluralism, tolerance, autonomy and consent.

The program priorities of the foundation are implemented in four main areas: development of knowledge economy and realization of the young people in Bulgaria, resolving the demographic crisis, educational initiatives for integration of the communities from the historic diaspora and initiatives for conservation and socialization of the Bulgarian cultural heritage.

The initiative has been sponsored by Dr. Milen Vrabevski since he established the Bulgarian Memory Foundation in 2007 and involves our youngest citizens to the spiritual values of European identity and solidarity, introduces them to  the variety of national and cultural backgrounds. STRONG NATIONAL IDENTITY – STRONG EUROPEAN IDENTITY brings together every year 600 young people by participating in European cultural heritage and integration seminars and celebrations of Bulgarian National Holidays in Bulgaria and EU institutions. Our mission is to celebrate the cultural integration of EU citizens and to promote European values among the young people in Bulgaria and in the Bulgarian historic diaspora of the EU Neighbouring Countries – Moldova, Ukraine, Serbia and Macedonia.
