Within the 20th Spring Seminar held in Varna, an agreement for cooperation was signed between the Bulgarian Memory Foundation and the Solutions for the Future Foundation

On April 11 in Grand Hotel Varna Dr. Milen Vrabevski, Chairman of the Bulgarian Memory Foundation and Rosen Plevneliev – President of Bulgaria (2012-2017) and Chairman of the Solutions for the Future Foundation, signed a cooperation agreement between the two organizations. The parties will cooperate to organize initiatives for building a knowledge economy and realization of young people in Bulgaria and Europe; exchange of good practices and models in the field of education, innovation and entrepreneurship; educational initiatives for integration, socialization and European perspective for young people in Bulgaria and the Bulgarian communities of the historical diaspora, in countries neighboring EU – Serbia, Republic of Macedonia, Moldova and Ukraine; intercultural dialogue, promotion of the Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage and its contribution to European civilization.

The President Rosen Plevneliev was among the special guests of the anniversary edition of the seminar, organized by the Bulgarian Memory Foundation, with the support of the Municipality of Varna, the EC Representation in Bulgaria and the Hanns Seidel Foundation. Within the initiative, Rosen Plevneliev participated in a discussion on the topic of Bulgarian EU membership – 10 years in the big European family, as well as in a presentation “Peace, Education and Innovation”. During his speech to more than 200 participants from 8 countries, he said he will continue to work for the development and support of young people in Bulgaria.

The 20th edition of the seminar was dedicated to: “Bulgaria 2017 – 10 Years in European Union, a period of challenges, opportunities and learned lessons” and was held from 10th to14th of April, 2017 in the city of Varna.
